Things are a changing....

The picture to the left is how I went to bed on Saturday Night...the one on the right shows that Sunday morning I woke up to 6 inches of SNOW!

The seasons are changing and life is changing as well! Winter is just around the corner and life is getting crazier by the day. Last Monday my brother, Troy, found out that his job is moving him down to Florida. This is a bummer, but a great opportunity for him. It has been nice having him here and we were hoping to get more skiing in with him this year (last year he broke his arm half way into the season). Guess on the positive side we now have another fun place to visit, if we ever find the time.
Mike was also offered a new job on Friday. So both Troy and Mike will be starting new positions on November 5th, 2007. Mike is excited about this new opportunity. He will be able to work from home and do more traveling. Mike's house also has a contract on it, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go as expected and that moving into a house November/December really can happen :-)

ROCKtober

So far October has been a very busy month. The Colorado Rockies have been on a winning streak and Mike and I have been at every game we can. We are crossing our fingers that we will be able to get our hands on a few of the World Series Tickets...Go Rocks!
The last two weekends we have spent up in the mountains with friends. The first weekend Mike had a hockey tournament in Aspen. It was my first time to Aspen. The weekend had a lot to offer...good hockey, food, shopping, and fun with friends :-) The picture below is the Maroon Bells, in Aspen. It was so cold that morning that we literally went out took the pictures and went back to the car! The second weekend we went to Vail with Mike's buddy "Larson" and his girlfriend Liz.

Why?

So I guess this is my "official" first post :-) I am setting this blog up so that I have a way of keeping everyone in the loop. Even thought I love chatting with everyone on the phone, there isn't enough free time between all. I have some friends that use this and it is great...so here is my try with it!
