So the "yard" has been on our "to do" list for awhile. Last year we got started...and added a couple of trees and moved a few too. This year is phase 2 (or year 2). When my parents were in town and were waiting for Thomas to arrive they decided to help us out and start staining the fence. The fence and deck were damaged by the hail. Mike's dad and he both have a love for landscaping. Before his dad arrived, Mike took and moved most of the rock that we had next to the grass. Then with his dad in town, they went to work putting in dirt and mulch, adding shrubs and flowers, and making the retaining wall in the front of the house.
Our yard looks about a million times better already, and it hasn't come to "fruition" yet! We still have a bit more to do and then Mike says he won't touch it again until next year...we will see if that holds true!
