Thank you Thank you Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes you all sent to us and mainly Stella. So far her surgery was a complete success.
Yesterday, her doctor was able to get in her eye and completely zap her tumor. She came home "drunk" and rested for a few hours. By 8 our puppy was ready to go again. This morning she got another great report from her follow up visit. The doctor said that her tumor has already shrunk by about 50% and that the pressures in her eyes have remained stable. Which is great news on both sides.

The bad news is for Mike and I, we are suppose to keep our energetic 85 lbs puppy 1-not on a leash (harness only), 2- from hitting her head (big
dopey dog= hits head a lot), not in direct sunlight (so far in Denver the past two days it has been 70 degrees), without exercise of any form (walks included) for 10 days! Yuck :-) She is effectively driving us both nuts, but we are both happy with how well she is feeling.
When I got home from work today I took the picture below of her eye. If you look closely you can see a small black dot on the colored part of her eye...before her surgery this wasn't a "dot" it was a big glob 7 mm x 3.5 mm to be exact...tonight it looks like a pen point!

On Tuesday, our friend Lauren stopped by and brought Stella the cutest gift from her puppy
Cheyenne. Cheyenne gave Stella a vet toy to "chew, destroy, and have a bit of payback." Such a cute gift and Stella enjoyed playing with it Tuesday night!
