Friday we headed downtown at 1 to pregame before the long awaited National League Champions, the Rockies, headed onto the baseball field. We went down their with a couple of friends, Dan and Shenen. Both Mike and I commented on how weird it felt to be "back again" as we had not been at the since Rocktober! The Rockies lost but we still had a great time.
We then made a game time decision and decided to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Oceanaire. Yummy!
Saturday we decided to start getting some color in our yard. We planted spring flowers and summer bulbs that will fill our yard with color. It was a major undertaking as the flowerbed had never really had flowers. After a couple trips to our neighborhood Home Depot, and some back breaking work, the flowers are in and look pretty good. I can't wait to see what the planted bulbs will look like if they come up!
Sunday we continued to do work around our house. There was cleaning, organizing, scrapbooking and laundry to be done. Thankfully, I am caught up with my scrapbook to the present weekend!
