We decided to turn our main levels under the stairs storage area into a kids fort and book nook. During the kids nap on Saturday I painted the room and then on Sunday Mike and the kiddos got to work hanging all the shelves and the magnetic boards. The kiddos now have a space to play and hang out and not going to lie, Mike and I enjoy hanging out in there too!
