Well tonight is officially the beginning of Seattle and the end (for now) of Denver.
Wowzers…obviously it is very difficult for both Mike and myself to think about leaving. Every other day we have different emotions, excitement, and feelings.
Regardless, like we said to one another today, ready or not the transition is beginning.
So here we are….Mike will be working in Seattle starting TOMORROW! That is right, he is in our new “home” and we are holding down the fort at our old home.
Over the last few weeks we have made major steps in moving. First, we have hounded the internet searching for property we are interested in Seattle. We have found several houses and areas we are interested in and feel promise with that. We have also gotten little things done here and there with our house and are hoping to have it on the market in a few weeks.
As of now our plan is to have Mike search out the current areas in Seattle and “just see” how he feels. For the rest of January he will be in Seattle during the week and home for the weekend. Starting in February we found a 1 bedroom furnished apartment that he can “live” in until we find our house. Then some weekends we will be apart, Mike will be here, or Thomas and I will be there.
Hopefully after Thomas and I are there February 10-13th we will have a house narrowed down and we can make an offer. Ugh…moving…yeah for new adventures…ugh for separations in between. Stay tuned…
