While the Wife and Kids are Away, Daddy and Dog Get to Play

It is no coincidence that we planned Mike’s annual fall fishing trip to coincide with me being gone in Minnesota.  It gets long, lonely and exhausting on the days/nights when Mike has to work out of town or away, so 5 days would be a LONG time, too long for right now!  So anyway back to the Daddy getting to go play.  Sunday after dropping us off at the airport he went mountain biking then took a long (un inturrupted) nap.  He had to work Monday-Wednesday and then after work he took off and headed to Portland with a buddy, Ryan, to pick up Doc Rock.  Then the trio went to Bend, Oregon for some fishing, mountain biking, and brewery touring fun.Stella was hanging with Mike at night and went on park trips with Kristie during the workday.  Wednesday through Sunday Stella got to stay at “Auntie Kristie’s Vacation Home.”  I love the pictures that I get while we are away.
