Feeding Giraffes

Thomas, Elin and I headed to the zoo with the mission to go “feed the giraffes.”  Our mission was successful and we were able to feed the giraffes and stand closer to a giraffe than we ever had before.  In the picture the keeper is feeding apples.  We were able to feed leaves from a sugar maple tree.  How cool for us both, Elin again slept through the whole thing!  We will for sure do this again.After we saw all the animals we headed back to the car so I could nurse Elin and Thomas could drive.  Thomas just happened to have his baby “Sam” in the car and he too fed his baby and then drove her home.  So fun to watch his pretend play skills emerging.  Hopefully someday he too will be a great daddy.
