More Memories in Cloquet and Duluth

After fishing on Wednesday we went back to have a relaxing day.  My dad played chef and cooked up some of his latest treats from hunting and fishing of venison and salmon.  Mike and Thomas appeased him and tried both, I passed. Thomas played in the pool with Grandpa while Elin slept on the deck with the rest of us while we had dinner. July 2012 After dinner we were not quick enough cleaning up the rest of the salmon and as we were sitting in the living room 3 raccoons came to clean up.  We watched and giggled at these clumsy babies and their mom enjoying our leftovers. On Thursday we got up and headed into Duluth.  My mom, Elin and I got to the lift bridge just after a cargo boat went under.  Mike and Grandpa said that Thomas was excited about the big boat.   We went into the visitors center and then headed to lunch at one of my favorites, Green Mill.  Seriously, the no bones wings are to die for!    Collages2July 20122Then after we got home we had our friends back over to run around and play in the pool and sprinkler.   Thomas and Charlie went head to head in the pool and Charlie hands down won the big splash competition!  Collages3Collages4Then it was time for dinner and Krystal and Isabella stopped over.  Grandma and Grandpa took over for bath time while we visited.  Then it was time for snacks, books and bed.  It was a perfect way to spend our last night for this trip in Cloquet.   July 20123
