Morning Discovery Park Hike

We headed to Discovery Park to explore and hike down to see the beach.  We missed the low tide and ended up getting a little wet with the tide coming back in.  A little funny and somewhat scary too.  We started out with 3 or so feet of beach and rocks behind us.  We walked around looked for creatures and then all of a sudden the tide was coming back in and fast.  Mike quickly picked up Thomas and we headed for the staircase.  By the time we got there the stairs were already under water.  A little water can’t hurt us, but not a place you want to get stuck with a 2 year old and 3 month old.Once again the hike didn’t disappoint in beauty and adventure.  The picture above shows Mike and Thomas looking at a huge slug in the bottom left corner.
