A few weeks ago I decided that after the weekend Monday’s need to be a stay at home, very low demand activity day for us. Thomas is usually tired from trying to keep up with his Daddy and he is always a little sad that Daddy has to go back to “make the bacon.” So putting too many demands on him causes a full blown melt down and this mama likes to avoid that if we can.
So anyway I needed to get some laundry folded and wanted to set Thomas up with an independent task while Elin napped. So I gave him one of his magazines and asked him if he wanted to cut and paste a collage.
It was a win win, he loved the activity, Elin slept and I got my laundry folded!
